Sometimes
May 11th, 2006
This is how I spent my evening:
Those olives are stuffed with blue cheese. My second one had olives stuffed with garlic. I spent $25 on olives tonight before I came home. And olives are PURE BLISS, especially when they are floating in vodka.
And sometimes, that’s how you have to spend an evening, along with Vanity Fair, and HBO. And sometimes, it’s how you have to cheat your way out of a blog entry, even though you TOTALLY OWE LARA a tagging thingamabob. Which is now coming Monday, because I tried to write it earlier and kept writing dumb things that started with ‘C’ like “Class: something I never attended in college. College! A place I should have attended CLASSES.” Can you tell I write for a living? Am smart!
I have a ‘c’ word for you bitch. CAT. Have you forgotten I exist since that slobbery thing arrived? BITCH.
Honest to fucking CHRIST, you little whiner, at least she doesn’t drive you around while you are BEHIND BARS. SHUT UP.
*Erasure. Happy Friday!

Man, I could so go for one right now… I’ve got the Grey Goose in the freezer and a new jar of bleu stuffed in the fridge.

I lOVE your martini glasses – very cool. Tonight i will need to abstain (“big” run tomorrow!), but tomorrow night another couple from the midwest, and Chris and I, are teaching the ex-Mormon neighbors ALL about drinking games. Can you imagine never having gone through that stage in your life????

That is a sweet martini glass! And yes, I am seriously considering The Drink tonight. Mamma needs some a’ the sauce, methinks.

Oh. my. God. We are so on the same wavelength – last night I spent the evening with Tanqueray & Tonics, and the new Pride & Prejudice. Eerie.

A Time When I Must Admit Something.
I have never, ever, ever had a martini! It’s true! Something about vodka and olives just scares me.
But I do like Midori Sours, and Amaretto Sours, and Strawberry Margaritas. I’m so sheltered, I know! THIS is why my next vacation should be to Florida to swim with the potatoes and drink the martinis.

The cat is beautiful! Love her! I totally want to come over and drink martinis (although – I’m ashamed to admit I don’t love olives) and play with the kitty and puppy and talk about South Florida sucking ass and cuss a lot.

This is, like, my EIGHTEENTH time today to visit your site. That bottle of vodka? STARING AT IT. What is that dark green-ish bottle behind the martini glass?
