Strike Me Down

February 16th, 2007

I’ve done a lot of things I never thought I’d do, so by now you’d think I’d learn to never say never. And true to form, I said I’d never do this, and now I’ve done it.

Why yes, that is my dog in a pink hooded sweatshirt. Um, oh my God? Send help. Tennis skirts may be next.

I hope this doesn’t mean they now sell hoodies for dogs at the Gap!

Neil: This one is from Target, but they DO actually sell doggie hoodies at the Gap. I saw some in there a while ago. I know! I know!

I am so ashamed… of me… for thinking it’s cute.

Why do you do this to me? Now I’ll never be able to complain about those silly people who dress their pets ever again!

Don’t feel too bad. We’ve all done this to our dogs, whether we want to admit it or not.

It’s ok. She looks quite patient. She’ll get you when you sleep.

Just as long as it stops there. Don’t go near the doggy shoes. NapolĂ©on has two sweaters (out of necessity) and one striped polo shirt because it makes him look really handsome.

Stylin’ pooch. I like your sleigh bed, too.

well, i think she looks quite comfy in it. and the three pugs at my office all wear their sweatshirts with pride and dignity!

Danell: Honestly, she loves it. I think she feels pretty. And the fact that I’ve thought that much about it is scaring me, but she kind of preens when I put it on her.

I was the same way until I saw the argyle sweater that my dog HAD TO HAVE. And you know what? She loves it!

Um, this is too cute. I’m ordinarily a bit weirded out by dressed up dogs, but she happens to look adorable (and does not look like she minds the pink hoodie one bit).

You know what? I hate that shit, but this is adorable.
