I’m pretty sure all those new cuts of underwear (and I feel like they’re new… but maybe not) are just meant to make us feel like we HAVE to run straight back out to Victoria’s Secret and drop $10 on a pair of underwear, because it’s the Hot New Thing. It’s a clever marketing ploy along the lines of adding the word “repeat” to the directions on the back of the shampoo bottle.

My husband probably thought I looked ridiculous with that pillow over my head, but he offered to hold my hand while they dragged it out as long as possible, and then he threw up his hands and stomped out of the room in disgust at the end as I wailed and rolled my eyes.
