My husband says he won’t even think of having another baby with me because apparently though I make pretty babies I am a wee bit crazy to live with while cooking them?

I have to say that once I had her, and had the first two week hormone crash, I was amazed at how normal I felt. That is the advantage of losing your damn mind for nine months I guess.

I caught Beyonce on SNL the other night and all I could look at was her boobs. They were just so large and in charge, it was hard to focus on anything else.

Every once in a while I think about pioneer women doing all their laundry by hand and making all the meals and washing all the dishes and making and mending their own clothes, and on and on and on. Thank God I live in modern times, is all I’m saying.

Yeah, I’d say dishwasher is one of my top three amenities. And washer/dryers. Seriously, one year in Boston trudging up Beacon Hill (both ways! in the snow!) with a big bin of laundry was enough for a lifetime.

Also: I’m not sure I can survive in this world not knowing how the Piemaker and the Dead Tourist work their relationship out without touching!!! I’m sad-faced about DSM but it seriously nosedived this season and let me down, so I say it brought this upon itself. But PD? Nooooooo.

I can’t wait for Lost! And also: Big Love? That’s coming back someday, right? (Sorry, still a bazillion times better than True Blood.)

I can’t believe they canceled Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money. That totally sucks! Not only will we never know who killed Dutch George, but we’ll never know if Eli and Maggie finally get together. Oh, this ruins everything.

I can’t believe all of the smart and interesting television that is getting canceled while KNIGHT RIDER merely gets a “reboot” after the winter hiatus….though that’s a different station. I think, though, that for many of these shows, this fall season was mostly about finishing their first full season which none of them got to do because of the Writer’s Strike last year.

Also? Your feelings for dishwashers? Is how I feel about someday owning my own washer and dryer. After two years of going to the laundromat once a week, moving into a complex with on site laundry facilities was THRILLING. Now that I’ve lived here for a year, I very much look forward to the time when I won’t have to leave the comfort of my home or worry about how many quarters I have on hand when it gets time to do the laundry!
