Wicked is SO GOOD! I loved it when it was here in Chicago. And I’m sure it is even better with your friend as the lead. That is so awesome!

UGH. I’m not looking forward to winter either. And that’s probably because we haven’t really had a summer.

Winters are hard – period. You know where I am and I’m sure you can imagine what winters are like here. We do have a mall, though, so that helped us back in the day. Otherwise, play dates and outings on the milder days help. I don’t know what you have locally but watch for winter events in your area. Schools and organizations will often come up with some creative indoor winter survival activities. Even if Sam is too young to participate herself, just getting out, watching and mingling can help. Also, we organized a night out once a month for moms and the kids stayed home.

oh! oh! your comment about blogher ‘10 gives me more to look forward to, besides crashing at suzanne’s nyc apartment. also, i super-duper love suebob & suzanne my blogher roommates, no exaggerations needed. plus, i avoided anyone i wasn’t kindof girl-crushing on (not that i stalked any of my girl crushes), so i’ll try not to stalk you next year.
i’d say snowshoe it to get out or cross country skiing, with or without the bab. i feel for your lack of target/malls; it does limit you.
i was turned off from puppy ownership from your previous sunny/gland posts, but i love my baby grover & don’t think scotties have such issues generally.
and i need to shut down the starz & get the hbos to catch up on this true blood biz.

OMFG, I don’t want DIRT! I wasn’t even thinking of BlogHer specifically, even. Was just thinking how every comment after every meeting EVAR is so OVER THE TOP in its “I LOVE YOOOOOOOU” that it’s hard to even see what’s genuine and what isn’t. And I wanted to be clear that mine was genuinely genuine. heh.

I definitely think the real dirt about people at BlogHer goes unspoken, which is as it should be, IMO. I’ve certainly come in contact with some less-than-awesome people (or perhaps I just caught them at a less-than-awesome moment?), but what good does it do to spread that kind of stuff around? None, of course.

I’m totally with you on the fakery fakeness, though. But hey, some people are just like that, in real life and online. Definitely a weird dynamic, though considering everyone reads about everyone’s interactions with everyone else.

(I’m so exciting you’re committing to BlogHer ‘10! Now I HAVE to go.)

Jonna, for what it’s worth again, you have never uttered a word in email or on your website that didn’t come across 100% genuine, good or bad. For real.
