The world’s least surprising news, but I am excited nonetheless
November 22nd, 2011
If you know me in real life, this is not a surprise, as I’ve been in maternity clothes and am sporting a bump already. If you follow me on Twitter, well, you could piece this together, too. But if by chance you haven’t, or just wondered where the hell I’ve been, the truth is, I’ve been hovering over a toilet thanks to this small person:
That’s a baby INSIDE MY PERSON, still kickin’ it at 12 weeks. Which, considering, is a milestone not without fear, but a happy milestone I will take nonetheless.
Now that it’s out, I hope to see you more often. In between wanting to die of nausea, of course.

I have the MTHFR genetic mutation, incidentally – if you have the desire to ask any questions feel free. I had one kid before I knew about it and one kid after. And a Lovenox/Heparin pregnancy.

Holy crow — that’s one of the most “that looks like an actual person” ultrasound picture I’ve ever seen. Our always looked like Rorschach tests.

CONGRATS!! Long time reader, don’t usually comment (although have sent you a couple tweets), but i had a feeling and kept wanting to chime in b/c i am in the same exact boat. I am due 6/10 and have my appointment this afternoon so verify all is ok so we can tell everyone tomorrow for thanksgiving. I like to say that being sick while also caring for other little ones (i have 2 at home already) is a special kind of hell. I am taking Phenergan for the first time and it definitely takes the edge off, but unfortunately not the miracle drug i was hoping for. Here’s hoping for relief over the next few weeks for both of us…
